The Symposium on Neuroradiological Infections was held at the Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Faculty of Medicine, organized by the Ankara and Samsun branches of the Turkish Society of Radiology.
The symposium, which served as a platform for sharing the latest knowledge and experience in the field of neuroradiology, covered a wide range of topics—most notably pediatric and neonatal infections, encephalitides, infections in immunocompromised patients, as well as infections involving the spine, head and neck, and the skull base. Through presentations and scientific discussions, the contributions of current approaches to daily clinical practice were evaluated.
Hosted by our university, this scientific gathering not only facilitated the exchange of knowledge and experience in neuroradiology but also strengthened scientific collaboration and professional solidarity among institutions in Ankara, Samsun, Tokat, and Sivas.
We extend our gratitude to the Ankara and Samsun branches of the Turkish Society of Radiology for their contributions to the organization of the symposium; to Symposium Chair Prof. Dr. Erkan Gökçe; Symposium Secretary Prof. Dr. Murat Beyhan; Chair of the Ankara Branch of the Turkish Society of Radiology Prof. Dr. Hatice Gül Hatipoğlu; Chair of the Department of Radiology at Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Elmalı; and Dr. Ece Zengin, a faculty member in the Department of Radiology at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Faculty of Medicine.
We also thank all the session chairs, speakers, and guests who added value to the symposium through their contributions and participation. The symposium, which featured scientifically productive discussions and strengthened professional solidarity, concluded following a group photograph.
