An event was organized by our Community Engagement and Social Responsibility Commission, with the participation of first-year and sixth-year students from our faculty, to increase knowledge and awareness of food safety.

As part of the event, our sixth-year students provided peer education to first-year students at stations featuring various educational materials. Information was shared on hand and kitchen hygiene, the prevention of cross-contamination, safe cooking and storage practices, and the selection of safe food and water.

As part of the community engagement component of the event, informative brochures to be prepared by students from both year groups will be distributed in the university dining halls, with the aim of raising awareness of food safety.
